Golf trade magazine talked about the amenity transformation members expect their clubs to make. “Members are becoming accustomed to the higher end of luxury living so clubs have to raise the bar. Each amenity is designed to be elegant as possible. Fitness centers must have the latest in lightning, elaborate ceiling, gorgeous colors, hydration stations. Massage rooms must have beautiful artwork elaborate wall coverings, well-crafted wood lockers, and benches wrapped in leather. Gourmet coffee shops, snack rooms, yogurt stations are also added to clubhouses. Members are seeking dining diversity, as they expect casual, fast casual, grab and go as well as elevated dining”.
I understand that it’s someone’s dream to experience these amenities. That means there has to be a whole section of society dedicated to giving these people luxury. In other words… who the hell is going to do all this work? Apparently, but never talked about in these magazines, there is an endless supply of people who have no desires themselves. Their only desire to provide rich people all their desires. Think about the times you have seen someone on social media blathering on about the business they plan to create, and how their dream of success will be realized. No problem. But where are all the videos of people who are saying
their dream is to make sure someone else achieves their successful dreams. Pretty important detail. In my expereince… that dog don’t hunt.
